What does a GPR survey cost wherever you are?

The rate card is the same across India; only the minimums change with location.

• Standard GPR survey: ₹24 per metre, which is ₹24,000 per km.
• L-section GPR survey: ₹32 per metre, adding a depth profile of detected services along the route.
• Minimum per order: 4 km. A shorter job is billed as 4 km.
• Outside Delhi NCR: a ₹1,00,000 minimum per project also applies.
• Large orders: once the whole order passes 100 km every metre gets 25% off, rising to 40% past 500 km and 50% past 1,000 km.
• GST: extra.

What should you send to get a quote?

A quote is quicker and more accurate when it starts from real route information. Please send:

1. The site location: city, town or district, and the nearest landmark.
2. The route or area: a marked map, KML file or drawing, with approximate length.
3. The purpose: cable laying, pipeline, OFC duct, HDD bore or general pre-excavation check.
4. What you need delivered: ground marking and report, L-section, CAD/GIS drawings.
5. Site constraints: night-only working, traffic restrictions, access permissions.
6. Your target start date.

What if your town is not listed?

Is a GPRS survey the same as a GPR survey?

Yes, in everyday searches. Many people type “GPRS survey near me” when they mean ground penetrating radar. Strictly, GPRS is a mobile data standard and has nothing to do with buried services, but the search engines and we both understand what is meant. Whichever term you use, the service is radar scanning of the ground to find cables, pipes, ducts and voids before digging or drilling.

The spelling matters only when you compare quotes. Make sure the offer you receive describes ground penetrating radar equipment and an actual scan of your route, not a desk study of old drawings alone.
