Quick AnswerWe run GPR and cable-locator surveys for telecom, gas, power, rail and highway projects and for the contractors who build them. Each page explains the survey and drawings that type of company usually needs, at ₹24 per metre with a minimum order of ₹50,000 in Delhi NCR.

GPR survey planned around how your company builds

A telecom operator laying fibre, a gas distributor extending its network and a power utility moving cables all dig in public roads – but each follows its own specification for route survey, depth records and handover drawings. These pages describe how we survey for each type of company and its contractors.

Companies and contractors we survey for

Many of the companies listed here, such as Airtel, NTPC and SAIL, have given Mezux Touch direct work orders, and their contractors engage our crews as well. Each industry page explains how we usually receive the work.

What changes from one company type to another

The radar is the same; the deliverable is not. An operator building fibre wants a chainage-wise record that its O&M team can reopen years later. A gas distributor cares most about separation from existing mains at every crossing. A power utility asks for HT and LT circuits shown apart, with joints and road crossings flagged. Highway and rail agencies usually need the corridor tied to their own chainage and survey control.

So before mobilising we read the company's specification or the EPC contractor's scope, agree the scan spacing and depth band, and fix the drawing layers. That small step saves a second visit when the handover file is checked.

Why companies order a GPR survey before they dig

A strike on a live cable or main costs far more than the survey that would have found it. Telecom operators lose service and pay penalties, gas distributors face shutdowns, and power utilities lose feeders. A ground penetrating radar survey before trenching or boring maps the services already in the corridor, so the route, pit positions and bore depths are set with that knowledge.

Our crews scan the alignment with GPR, trace live metallic lines with cable locators and mark every crossing on the ground with paint and an estimated depth. The drawing then follows the company's own handover format.

From route file to marked drawing

  1. The company or its contractor shares the KMZ or design route with chainage.
  2. Our engineers note crossings, road owners and the permits needed on the stretch.
  3. The crew scans the corridor and every pit position, then marks findings on site.
  4. A CAD drawing, crossing list and KMZ reach the project team, normally within three working days of field work.

A Mezux team member is based in or near each city we serve, so field work begins immediately or within one working day of confirmation. Any travel cost, where it applies, appears in the written quote.

Which company types we work with most

Telecom operators and their fibre contractors form the largest share of this work, followed by city gas distributors, power distribution companies, metro and rail builders, highway concessionaires and water utilities. Each has its own rules for depth, clearance and record format, and the page for each company type explains what its engineers usually ask for before approving a drawing.

Working with EPC contractors

Most of our company-type work reaches us through the contractor who holds the work order. We fit into their programme: crews start ahead of the trenching or drilling gang, mark findings on the ground the same day, and send the drawing set in the contractor's title block so it can go straight into the client's file.

How a company-type survey is priced

Pricing follows our published card: ₹24 for each metre surveyed, or ₹32 when an L-section depth profile is wanted. A single order is never billed below ₹50,000 inside Delhi NCR or ₹1,00,000 for a project elsewhere, and long programmes earn 25%, 40% or 50% off once they pass 100, 500 or 1,000 km. GST is added on top. The full price list shows worked examples.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can a long OFC route be scanned?

It depends on traffic and access. Long routes are split into stretches with a crew on each, and urgent stretches can be scanned at night once the road owner allows it.

Do you share data in our format?

Yes – DWG, PDF, SHP or KMZ, laid out to your handover specification.

Is Mezux on these companies’ vendor lists?

Only where a page says so. Otherwise we are hired directly by you or by your EPC partner as an independent contractor.
