Mezux Touch owns fourteen Ground Penetrating Radar systems and eighteen horizontal directional drilling rigs across a range of classes, together with support plant and electromagnetic locating equipment. The claim is about control of a date rather than about pride of ownership: a contractor who hires cannot commit to a mobilisation date because that date belongs to the rental yard, and on work constrained by a possession, a permission window or a monsoon-free month, that is what decides whether a season is hit.

Why the range matters more than the count

Rock ground needs a different machine from clay, and a contractor holding one rig class either declines the job or forces the wrong machine through it, which is how bores are abandoned mid-crossing. Our fleet spans small rigs for constrained hillside setout through to classes suited to rock and to long river crossings. On the survey side, multiple antenna frequencies matter for the same reason: a system that resolves rebar in a slab will not reach a trunk main under two metres of fill, and one system cannot do both jobs.

Where the claim stops

We do hire things, and it is more honest to say which. Cranes, specialist lifting equipment and occasional traffic management plant are hired where owning them would be uneconomic. Reinstatement and civil finishing labour is sometimes engaged locally, under our supervision and to our specification, and disclosed at contract stage rather than discovered later. What is never hired is the plant or the crews on the critical path: survey systems, drilling rigs and the operators running them. That is the boundary, and a client is entitled to ask us to confirm it in writing.

Do you hire anything at all? Cranes, specialist lifting and occasional traffic management plant. Never survey systems, drilling rigs or the crews operating them.

Does owning make you cheaper? Not necessarily per metre. It makes us able to commit to a date, which on window-constrained work is worth more than a marginal rate difference.

What happens if a machine breaks down mid-programme? We have others, and their maintenance history is ours. On hired plant a mid-bore breakdown is a risk nobody has priced.

Can we verify the fleet? Yes. Ask for the schedule at tender stage, or ask to see the yard — it is in Sector 41, Faridabad.
