How Mezux Touch collects, uses, stores and protects personal data submitted through mezux.in, and your rights under the DPDP Act, 2023.
Overview
Mezux Touch Pvt. Ltd. ("Mezux Touch", "we", "us") operates mezux.in. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights available to you. It is issued in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us through our forms:
- Enquiry / quotation forms: name, company, email address, phone number, project location, approximate scope and any message you write.
- Careers form: name, email, phone, experience and a link to your CV or resume.
- Project tracking / complaint forms: name, contact details and work-order or reference number.
- Server logs: standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.
We do not knowingly collect financial account details, government identity numbers, biometric data or any special-category personal data through this website. Please do not send such information through our forms.
Why we use it (purpose)
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation or scope of work.
- To contact you about a project you have asked us about.
- To evaluate job applications.
- To handle complaints, feedback and project status requests.
- To keep the website secure and functioning correctly.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Legal basis and consent
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form, and where applicable for legitimate business purposes such as responding to a request you initiated. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us at the address below. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Sharing and processors
We share personal data only where necessary:
- Form delivery: form submissions are delivered to our official email through a third-party form-forwarding service.
- Hosting: our website and logs sit with our hosting provider.
- Statutory disclosure: where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority.
We do not share your details with advertisers or data brokers. Any processor engaged by us is required to handle data only on our instructions and to keep it secure.
Retention
Enquiry and quotation data is retained for up to three years from the last contact, so that we can service ongoing and repeat project relationships. Recruitment data is retained for up to one year unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes. When the purpose is served, data is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including transport encryption (HTTPS), access control over the mailbox that receives enquiries, and basic anti-spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may:
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is processed.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Ask us to erase data where it is no longer needed.
- Withdraw consent for further processing.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
We respond to verified requests within a reasonable period, ordinarily within 30 days.
Cookies
This website uses only the minimum storage needed to make pages work. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Children
This website is intended for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, write to us and we will delete it.
