GPR Survey — Delhi NCR
GPR Survey in Delhi NCR — Utility Detection Across the Capital Region
Five administrations, four state boundaries and one operating base at Faridabad — which is why NCR work carries no minimum order value.
Since 2003 we have surveyed over 1.5 lakh km by radar, held 100 km a day at peak and delivered 700 KM inside 30 days without hiring a single system. This site is inside Delhi NCR, our home region, so no minimum order value applies. Outside NCR the minimum is ₹1,00,000 per project, because crews and rigs mobilise from Faridabad.
Quick AnswerMezux Touch runs Ground Penetrating Radar survey across the whole National Capital Region — Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad — with dedicated pages for individual industrial estates, corporate belts and localities. Our crews, rigs and 14 GPR systems are based in Faridabad, at the centre of this region.
One built-up area, four state jurisdictions
NCR looks continuous on the ground and is anything but on paper. Delhi is a union territory, Gurugram and Faridabad sit in Haryana, Noida and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, and each brings its own municipal machinery, road-cutting regime, deposit basis and restoration standard.
A corridor running from Delhi into Gurugram or from Noida into Ghaziabad crosses between systems without any visible change in the street. Files opened on one side do not transfer to the other.
This is the single most common cause of programme slippage across the region, and it is entirely avoidable. We map jurisdiction before drafting and open files on each side in parallel rather than sequentially.
Being based at the centre of it
Our office, equipment yard and crews are in Faridabad, which sits inside NCR rather than at its edge. Every part of the region is a working-day drive.
That is why no minimum order value applies anywhere in NCR. Outside the region a Rs 1,00,000 per-project floor recovers the cost of moving rigs and crews; inside it there is nothing to recover, so a single plot or a short diagnostic survey is entirely routine.
For emergency work — a strike that has happened, an excavation stopped pending clearance — that base location is the practical difference between a same-day crew and a scheduled mobilisation.
The ground changes more than the map suggests
Within NCR the subsurface varies substantially. Quartzite rises close to the surface along the Delhi ridge and toward the Aravalli edge of Gurugram and Faridabad. The eastern floodplain around Mayur Vihar and the trans-Yamuna belt is soft and saturated. Noida and Greater Noida sit on drier alluvium that reads unusually well.
Achievable investigation depth therefore differs by a wide margin across the region, and we state it by location rather than offering one figure. The individual area pages set out what each ground allows.
Industrial estates are the distinct problem
NCR holds an unusual concentration of industrial estates at different ages — Sahibabad and NIT Faridabad from the early industrial period, Udyog Vihar and Narela from the middle, IMT Manesar and the Noida sectors from the planned era.
Their common feature is that estate infrastructure may be documented while plot-level servicing is not. Inside a boundary, each unit built to suit its own process and extended as production grew, and the survey becomes the only reliable account.
Areas we have written up
The pages below cover the cities and the individual areas within them. Crews work across the whole region, so anywhere not listed is still within scope.

Frequently asked questions
Because our office, yard and crews are in Faridabad, inside the region rather than at its edge. The Rs 1,00,000 floor elsewhere recovers rig and crew movement cost; within NCR there is nothing to recover.
The file does not transfer. Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh each run their own municipal machinery, deposit basis and restoration standard, so we open both sides in parallel rather than discovering the second after the first clears.
Noida and Greater Noida generally — drier alluvium with shallow made ground and a deeper water table. The eastern floodplain and the ridge-side quartzite belts are the most limiting.
Regularly, and it is a large share of our NCR work. Estate infrastructure may be documented but plot-level servicing rarely is, so the survey becomes the only reliable account of what a unit inherited.
Same day across most of the region. A strike that has already happened or an excavation stopped pending clearance is exactly the call our base location lets us answer quickly.
Yes, through our in-house liaison desk, which carries Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh processes separately rather than as one form with a different address.

Beneath Delhi NCR lies four state jurisdictions over ground ranging from ridge quartzite to Yamuna floodplain to drier Noida alluvium, and the honest depth figure for that material is typically 1.5 to 4 metres across the region, stated by location rather than as one regional figure. It is the number worth agreeing before a rate, since it determines what the survey can and cannot settle. If your design needs confidence below that ceiling, we recommend complementary locating or trial holes at scoping stage instead of delivering an inconclusive drawing afterwards.
How the survey is run here
We fix line spacing after assessing Delhi NCR ground, not from a standard sheet. Extra perpendicular lines go in wherever the ground could be misread as a buried utility. Velocity is re-established wherever the material changes, so a depth quoted at one chainage means the same as a depth quoted at another. The work is done by directly employed crews on company-owned systems, with no critical activity sub-let.
What you receive
Layered CAD in DWG following your convention, with every line attributed by depth, by how it was detected and by how far it can be relied upon. GIS output as SHP or KML for clients holding a spatial database, plus a PDF set for wider circulation. A signed report recording coverage, achievable depth by section, refused access and the limits of what the method resolved. On Delhi NCR work the report also records the authorities involved — Delhi's council and corporation bodies, Haryana municipal bodies in Gurugram and Faridabad, Uttar Pradesh bodies in Noida and Ghaziabad, the metro corporations, NHAI on national highways — because the deliverable has to satisfy whichever of them receives it. The original data is kept on file and can be reissued if a finding is questioned long after the works.
Beyond the basics
What happens when a corridor crosses a state line? The file does not transfer. Each state runs its own machinery, deposit basis and restoration standard, so both sides are opened in parallel.
Which part of NCR has the best ground? Noida and Greater Noida generally — drier alluvium, shallow made ground and a deeper water table.
Why is there no minimum order value here? Because our office, yard and crews sit inside the region rather than at its edge, so there is no mobilisation cost to recover.
How fast can you respond to an emergency? Same day across most of the region, which is what the base location is actually worth on a stopped excavation.
Can you attend site if something is struck later? Yes. We investigate against our own records rather than defending the drawing, and the report already states where confidence was limited.
Terms used on this page
Cross-border corridor — a route crossing between states, where a file opened on one side does not transfer to the other. Home region — the area within working-day reach of our Faridabad base, where no minimum order value applies. Mobilisation — moving crews and equipment to site, the cost that drives the minimum order value outside NCR. Duct bank — several ducts encased together in concrete, which reads as one structure rather than as separate lines. Invert — the inside bottom level of a pipe, which is what governs fall on a gravity drain.
