Quick answer

Looking for a GPR survey company in Halol? Mezux Touch dispatches in-house crews with company-owned radar from Faridabad to locate what lies buried along a route – cables, pipes, ducts – before any trench or bore. Route surveys cost ₹24 per metre (₹32 with L-section), minimum 4 km and ₹1,00,000 per project outside Delhi NCR, GST extra.

Rates and page checked:

Survey crew member reviewing a radar record on a rugged tablet
Each Halol find is checked on screen before a mark goes on the road.
Drawing of a factory site with pipework and cable trenches below ground
Plant interiors in an estate like Halol GIDC need a tighter scan grid.
Electromagnetic locator receiver held above a buried power cable
EM locating confirms which radar reflections are live cables or metal pipes.
Signed survey report pages with depth tables and coverage notes
The report lists depth reached per section and every stretch we could not scan.

What does a GPR survey company in Halol do before you dig?

A GPR survey company in Halol is called in for one reason: to tell the excavation or drilling crew what is already buried on their path, and how deep it lies. Mezux Touch does this with ground penetrating radar for every type of buried line, backed by electromagnetic (EM) locating for conductive cables and metal pipes.

The output is meant to be used on site the same day. Every line we detect is painted or pegged on the surface in the colour of its utility, with a rough depth noted next to it, and the same findings go into a written report stating what was covered, what could not be scanned and how far each depth can be trusted. The aim is a ground penetrating radar survey in Halol that plant engineers and contractors can act on without second-guessing.

All 58 GPR systems we run are company-owned and handled by in-house crews. Nothing on the job is hired in or sub-let, so the people who scan your route are the people who sign the report.

Where does underground survey work come up around Halol?

Halol sits in Panchmahal district, inside the distribution area of MGVCL (Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd.). Requests for buried-service surveys here tend to come from four kinds of ground:

  • The GIDC estate. The automobile and engineering units there use a lot of power and water, so estate roads carry HT feeders, process water lines, storm drains and telecom ducts side by side.
  • The Vadodara–Halol road corridor. Long, fairly open stretches where cable and pipeline routes follow the road edge and cut across it at junctions and factory gates.
  • The older town core. Narrow streets where water, drainage and distribution cables went in at different times under different owners, often without matching records.
  • Routes towards Champaner–Pavagadh. The heritage area near the town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site; before dates are fixed there, confirm with your client which permissions the work needs.

For the rest of central Gujarat, see our Gujarat GPR survey hub or the neighbouring Vadodara page.

How is scanning inside a Halol GIDC plant different from a public road?

Behind a factory wall the services are denser and less predictable than under a municipal road. Process pipes, compressed-air lines, fire-water mains, earthing strips and cable trenches may lie within a metre of each other, and some were added during expansions that never reached the master drawing.

We deal with this using a closer grid of radar lines, extra cross-lines at pits and junctions, and EM tracing on every conductive line we can connect to or pick up. The programme is built around the plant's own rules:

  • gate passes, safety induction and permit-to-work, which our crews follow as routine under our ISO 45001:2018 system;
  • shutdown days or quiet shifts for busy internal roads, loading bays and tank farms;
  • a plant engineer or escort who can open locked yards and confirm which lines are live.

Our article on GPR survey in Gujarat GIDC estates goes deeper into estate work.

Which methods do we use, and what can each one find?

  • 2D GPR lines run both with and across the alignment – picks up metal and non-metal services alike, including PVC water pipes, HDPE ducts and masonry drains.
  • 3D or high-resolution GPR where a junction, plant entry or pit area is too crowded to read line by line.
  • EM locating for power cables, telecom cables with metal elements and metal pipes; it also helps confirm what a radar reflection actually is.
  • Trial pits or boreholes on request, where a depth has to be proved before a design is frozen.

Finding the fault on a damaged cable is its own job, distinct from route survey. If a plant or contractor needs a damaged cable's fault point found, tell us, and it is quoted on its own.

Radar depth is never a fixed figure. Soil and moisture govern it – wet clay and saline ground cut it down, while dry sandy ground lets the pulse travel further – so we report the depth reached on each section of the route instead of one number for the whole job.

What does a GPR survey in Halol cost?

For a standard GPR route survey we charge ₹24 per metre – ₹24,000 for each kilometre. Where the scope also wants depths plotted along the route for every line found, the L-section survey applies at ₹32 per metre. Jobs shorter than 4 km are charged at the 4 km figure.

Because Halol is outside Delhi NCR, a ₹1,00,000 minimum applies to each project. A 4 km standard job (₹96,000 at the metre rate) is therefore billed at ₹1,00,000, while a 10 km standard route comes to ₹2,40,000. GST is added on top of these figures.

Long orders earn a discount on the whole order: 25% when the total goes past 100 km, 40% beyond 500 km and 50% beyond 1,000 km, applied to every metre. A 120 km standard order works out at ₹18 per metre, or ₹21,60,000.

The metre rate pays for the survey itself. Separate lines on the quote cover mobilisation, night working, traffic arrangements or permits, and CAD/GIS drawing sets. All slabs are set out on our GPR survey price list.

What will you receive after the Halol survey?

  • Surface marks – paint on paving, pegs on soil – for every detected line, coloured by utility and labelled with rough depth.
  • A signed survey report listing coverage, depth reached section by section, areas we could not scan and the limits of each method.
  • An L-section depth profile along your route, when the ₹32 per metre survey was ordered.
  • CAD or GIS drawing sets, if your client needs them – quoted separately.

Engineers planning a new feeder into the estate will find cable-specific detail on our HT/LT cable route survey page for Halol.

How soon can a crew start work in Halol?

Every Halol job is mobilised from our Faridabad yard. Since we own 58 GPR systems and 18 HDD rigs, a start date depends on crew planning and your site permissions, not on finding a machine to rent.

Halol is close to Vadodara and on the road towards Godhra, so routes in these towns can often be placed in one order. That spreads a single mobilisation over more kilometres and brings the total nearer the 100 km discount slab. Where a corridor is open and both shifts are allowed, output at our peak reaches 100 km a day; estate roads and plant interiors move more slowly.

MGVCL has no connection with us, nor does any other distribution company; we work for the contractor, consultant or plant owner who places the order.

FAQ

Questions about GPR survey in Halol

Do you scan inside running plants in Halol GIDC?

Yes, provided the plant issues the gate passes and work permits our crew needs. We plan scanning around production, often using shutdown days for busy internal roads, and we need a plant contact who can confirm live lines and open locked areas. Inside a plant we use a tighter grid and more EM locating than on an open road.

Can a Halol survey be combined with work in Vadodara?

Yes. When both routes go into one order they share a single mobilisation, and their combined length counts towards the discount slabs, so every metre becomes 25% cheaper once the order passes 100 km. Send both route files together and the quote will show one programme for the whole job.

Which buried services can you find under Halol roads?

HT and LT power cables, street-light cables, telecom cables and OFC ducts, water mains and service pipes, sewers and storm drains, gas lines and earthing strips. Radar also sees non-metal pipes. Whether a particular line shows up depends on its size, depth and how strongly it contrasts with the soil around it.

How deep can your radar see in Halol?

No honest surveyor quotes one number before scanning. Reach depends on soil type and moisture: wet clay shortens it, dry sandy ground extends it. We record the depth actually reached on each section in the report, and where a deeper line must be confirmed we can dig trial pits or boreholes on request.

Is the per-metre rate all-inclusive?

No. The ₹24 (or ₹32 for L-section) metre rate covers the survey work. Mobilisation, night-shift working, traffic arrangements or permissions and CAD/GIS drawing sets are priced separately, and GST is added to the total. Each of these is listed on the quote so nothing appears later as a surprise.

Do you work for MGVCL directly?

We hold no affiliation with MGVCL or any DISCOM, and we do not claim any approval or empanelment. We take orders from contractors, consultants, plant owners and developers whose work falls in the MGVCL area, and our report is written for whoever places the order.
