Looking for a GPR survey company in Chhota Udepur?

If you need a GPR survey company in Chhota Udepur, three practical points matter: who owns the equipment, where the crew comes from and what you hold in your hand at the end. Underground survey has been our work since 2003, and Mezux Touch operates 58 GPR systems it owns outright, staffed by in-house crews. Nothing is hired in, and no part of the job is sub-let. Teams and systems travel from our yard in Faridabad, Haryana.

We do not keep a local office in the district and we do not claim past jobs in the town. What we bring is a fleet large enough to start on your dates and a method used over more than 1.5 lakh km of surveys in 28+ States/UTs. For the state-wide view, see our Gujarat GPR survey page.

What should contractors know about Chhota Udepur before a survey?

Chhota Udepur became a separate district in 2013, when it was carved out of Vadodara district, and the town is its headquarters. It lies on Gujarat's eastern edge against the Madhya Pradesh border, and much of the district is hilly, with a large tribal population. Its talukas include Bodeli, Sankheda, Jetpur Pavi, Kavant and Nasvadi, and the Orsang river runs through the district on its way to the Narmada. Our Vadodara GPR survey page covers the former parent district.

For survey planning, that background turns into a few working facts:

  • electricity distribution is MGVCL's, as Chhota Udepur is one of its seven central Gujarat districts;
  • town roads carry municipal water and drainage lines, LT supply and telecom ducts in limited width;
  • routes between talukas follow state highways and district roads, often with fibre ducts along the shoulder;
  • river and nala crossings, and the railway line towards Vadodara, are places where a bore is more likely than a trench.

Which jobs call for a ground penetrating radar survey in Chhota Udepur?

A ground penetrating radar survey in Chhota Udepur is usually the first field task on work such as:

  • HT/LT cable routes for distribution upgrades, where the new cable has to avoid existing pipes and ducts (see our cable route survey service);
  • OFC routes along highways and district roads linking the talukas;
  • water supply and drainage pipelines, where a trench crosses older lines and house connections;
  • road widening and culvert work, where buried services in the shoulder must be known before excavation;
  • HDD crossings under rivers, nalas and roads.

Where a project involves underground power lines, note that MGVCL orders reported in 2026 for central Gujarat combine overhead-to-covered-conductor conversion with underground networks. Mezux Touch is not affiliated with MGVCL; our work is for the contractor or owner who hires us.

How do our GPR scanning services in Chhota Udepur work?

  1. Desk check. We study your alignment and any drawings you can obtain from the municipality, MGVCL or telecom operators.
  2. Route walk. The crew confirms access, surface type and crossings on the ground.
  3. Radar passes. GPR lines run along and across the route; 3D or high-resolution scanning is used where services are packed close together.
  4. EM locating. Conductive cables and metal pipes are traced to support the radar result.
  5. Marking and record. Lines are painted with approximate depth and logged for the report.

Our GPR scanning services in Chhota Udepur follow the same method we use in every district. What changes from place to place is the ground and the crossings, which the next section deals with.

What limits radar depth in hilly ground?

No single depth figure holds across the district. Soil type and moisture govern signal reach: wet clay and saline ground shorten it, while dry sandy or gravelly soil extends it. On stony hill slopes, scattered rock adds clutter that has to be separated from real services, and silty ground in the river valleys behaves differently again.

The report states, section by section, how deep the radar actually reached. Where a line may lie lower than that, we recommend a trial pit or borehole, both of which we can carry out on request.

What does a GPR survey cost in Chhota Udepur?

Rates here match the rest of our card: standard survey at ₹24 a metre, L-section survey at ₹32 a metre, with GST added. Two minimums apply. The shortest billable order is 4 km, and since the district is outside Delhi NCR, a project cannot cost less than ₹1,00,000.

OrderWorkingSurvey amount
2.5 km standardbilled as 4 km: 4,000 m × ₹24 = ₹96,000₹1,00,000 (project minimum)
12 km standard12,000 m × ₹24₹2,88,000
20 km L-section20,000 m × ₹32₹6,40,000
120 km standard₹28,80,000 less 25% slab₹21,60,000

Not included in these figures: moving the crew and radar from Faridabad, night-shift work, traffic management or permissions, and CAD/GIS drawing sets. Each is priced separately. Every slab, including 40% off above 500 km and 50% above 1,000 km, is on the GPR survey price list.

What do utility detection services in Chhota Udepur deliver?

Our utility detection services in Chhota Udepur end with three things: paint marks on the ground showing each detected line and its approximate depth, a written survey report, and drawings if you order them. The report lists coverage, depth reached per section, every crossing and any area left unscanned, with the reason.

The ₹32 rate already covers the L-section profile, while CAD and GIS drawing sets carry their own price. More on what we locate is on our underground cable detection and pipeline detection pages, or you can request a quote with your route.

TIP 1

Send the full route

A KML or marked map of the whole alignment lets us measure billable length and spot every crossing before we quote.

TIP 2

Start permissions early

Road and railway permissions for the work usually sit with the contractor or client; starting them early protects the survey programme.

TIP 3

Pick the season

Dry months give the radar more reach on clay patches, while the monsoon can block nala beds and low-lying verges.

TIP 4

Collect owner records

Municipal, MGVCL and telecom drawings, even rough ones, help the crew identify what the radar picks up below ground.

TIP 5

Group the talukas

Combining routes in Bodeli, Sankheda or Nasvadi into one order spreads mobilisation from Faridabad over more kilometres.

Rates fixed per metre

₹24 for a standard survey and ₹32 with an L-section, applied to measured length, so the quote is easy to check against your route.

A fleet that is ours

With 58 owned GPR systems, no rental cost is passed on and the start date does not hang on hiring a machine.

Combine routes across talukas

One larger order covering several routes in the district uses a single mobilisation and can cross the 100 km slab for 25% off.

Choose standard or L-section

Pay ₹32 only where your work order actually asks for a depth profile; elsewhere the ₹24 standard survey may be enough.

Extras named in the quote

Moving the crew, night work, traffic permissions and drawing sets each appear as a named line, so the full cost is known before field work begins.

Trial pits only where needed

Section-wise depth reach in the report shows where confirmation pits are worth digging, and where they would add cost for nothing.

FAQ

Questions about GPR survey in Chhota Udepur

Is there a GPR survey company near me in Chhota Udepur?

Mezux Touch has no office in the district. Crews set out from Faridabad with radar systems the company owns, and that mobilisation is a separate quote item. For a price, phone +91 99100 10209 or write to kumar@mezux.in, giving the route, its length and the survey your work order specifies.

Can you survey routes outside the town, in the talukas?

Yes. Routes in Bodeli, Sankheda, Jetpur Pavi, Kavant or Nasvadi, or between them, are surveyed in exactly the same way. Longer rural stretches usually move faster than town lanes, though crossings and hilly sections slow the pace down.

Do you find plastic water pipes as well as cables?

Often, yes. Radar responds to changes in the ground's electrical properties, not only to metal, so non-metallic pipes and ducts can show up. Whether they do depends on size, depth and soil. EM locating adds certainty on conductive lines but cannot see plastic.

How soon can a crew reach Chhota Udepur?

It depends on what the fleet is committed to at the time, but because every system is company-owned, we never have to find a machine to hire first. The quote states a proposed start date and a field programme for your route.

Do you carry out trial pits or boreholes?

Yes, on request. Where the radar shows a doubtful point, or a design decision depends on an exact depth, a trial pit or borehole confirms what is there. These are quoted as separate items from the per-metre survey.

What happens on stretches you cannot scan?

They are written into the report as unscanned, with the reason: blocked access, standing water, parked vehicles or a missing permission. Nothing unscanned is ever shown as clear. The crew can return to those stretches once access is sorted out.
