Looking to hire a GPR survey company in Dahod? Mezux Touch serves the town with in-house crews who come from Faridabad bringing company-owned radar, and they trace what lies beneath Dahod's streets, highways and rail-side land: power cables, telecom ducts, sewers, water mains. Pricing: route survey ₹24 a metre; L-section version ₹32 a metre. Any Dahod order is billed on 4 km at the least and ₹1,00,000 at the least; GST is then added.

What can a GPR survey company in Dahod find before excavation?
A radar unit pushes short electromagnetic pulses downward and logs the returns from anything unlike the soil that surrounds it – a cable, a pipe, a duct, a void or a buried chamber. Paired with electromagnetic locating for conductive lines, it lets a GPR survey company in Dahod tell your crew where they can dig freely and where they must slow down.
Services we routinely look for include:
- HT and LT power cables, street-light cables and earthing runs;
- water supply mains and service lines, plastic pipes included;
- sewers, storm drains and culverts;
- telecom cables and OFC ducts;
- gas pipelines and other metal lines.
Every find is marked on the road surface and listed in a signed report. Cable-specific detail is on our underground cable detection page, and pipe work is covered on the underground pipeline detection page.
What makes survey work in Dahod different?
Of all the district headquarters MGVCL serves, Dahod lies furthest east, near the borders with Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Three things shape buried-service surveys here:
- The Delhi–Mumbai rail line runs through the town, so many cable and pipeline routes have to cross railway land or run beside it.
- Smart City works. Dahod is one of the cities in the Smart City programme, and road, drainage and utility upgrades add new services to streets that already hold older ones from several owners.
- Distance from larger centres. Sitting at the eastern edge of the state, Dahod gains more than most towns from a single, well-planned mobilisation that covers as much route as possible.
Our Gujarat GPR survey hub shows how Dahod fits with the other towns of central Gujarat.
How are rail-side and highway routes surveyed around Dahod?
Along a corridor, radar lines run continuously parallel to the route, with cross-lines at regular gaps and at every visible chamber, pole or marker stone. Crossings are dealt with separately:
- Under the rail line. These crossings are often planned as HDD bores, so we scan the bore path and the pit areas on each side as far as access allows.
- Across highways and main roads. Junctions and road crossings get a closer grid, because services tend to converge there.
- Over drains and nalas. Culverts and drain beds are recorded so the designer can choose between passing under or over them.
Permission to enter railway land or work on a carriageway is a matter between the project owner and the authority that owns it. Traffic arrangements and permissions are billed outside our survey rate. Our HDD service page explains how a scanned bore path is used by the drilling team.
How deep can radar reach in Dahod ground?
There is no single answer for the district. Radar reach is governed by soil type and its water content: clay that is wet, or ground carrying salt, soaks up the signal, while dry sandy ground lets it travel further. Along one route the ground can change from made-up fill under a town road to natural soil beyond the last houses, and depth reach changes with it.
So the report notes, stretch by stretch, how deep the radar actually saw, instead of one number covering everything. A ground penetrating radar survey Dahod contractors can rely on must also say clearly where it could not see. When a deeper line must be confirmed before design, we can open trial pits or drill boreholes at the points that matter, on request.
What does a GPR survey in Dahod cost?
Pricing is per metre of route. A standard survey costs ₹24 a metre; the L-section version, which also plots how deep each detected service runs, costs ₹32 a metre. Shorter jobs are billed as 4 km, and since Dahod lies beyond Delhi NCR, ₹1,00,000 is the lowest amount any project there is billed. GST is charged in addition.
| Example route | Survey | Amount before GST |
|---|---|---|
| 3 km town stretch | Standard | ₹1,00,000 (4 km at ₹96,000 lifted to the project minimum) |
| 8 km rail-side cable route | Standard | ₹1,92,000 |
| 8 km rail-side cable route | L-section | ₹2,56,000 |
| 520 km multi-district programme | Standard, 40% slab | ₹74,88,000 |
Large programmes earn a discount on the entire order – a quarter off past 100 km, 40% off past 500 km, half off past 1,000 km – applied to every metre, not just the extra length. Travel and mobilisation, any night working, traffic management or permits, and CAD/GIS drawing sets are all left outside these figures and are quoted on their own. Every slab is set out in our GPR rate card.
Which survey options suit a Dahod project?
- Standard route survey – positions and depths of existing services along a planned cable, pipe or duct route, with ground marking.
- L-section survey – the same scan plus a depth profile, when a work order asks for one; see our Dahod L-section page.
- HT/LT cable route survey – focused on distribution cabling and its crossings; see the Dahod cable route page.
- Site or plot scan – utility detection services in Dahod for a building plot, campus or yard before foundations or new connections.
- Cable fault locating – a separate task from route survey, quoted on its own.
- Trial pits or boreholes – on request, to prove a depth that matters to the design.
How do crews and systems reach Dahod?
Dahod work is mobilised from Faridabad. The kit is ours — 58 GPR systems, 18 HDD rigs — and so are the crews operating it; nothing is sub-let. Over 23 years, across 28+ States and UTs, the same crews have clocked up a GPR survey tally beyond 1.5 lakh km; for them the long drive to eastern Gujarat is nothing unusual for them.
Dahod lies on the highway and rail route that also serves Godhra, so routes in Dahod, Godhra and Halol can often be grouped into one order to share a mobilisation and reach a discount slab sooner. Our firm stands independent of MGVCL and every other DISCOM, acting solely for whichever client places the order.

Questions about GPR survey in Dahod
Can you scan beside the railway line in Dahod?
Yes, where the project owner has the railway's permission for us to be on that land. We scan along the route on the permitted strip and across any planned crossing, including the bore path for HDD. Access rules on railway land come from the railway, so the programme is set around whatever working windows they allow.
Do Smart City road works change how a survey is planned?
They can. New drainage, water and cable work goes into streets that already hold older services, so the ground is busier and records may be incomplete. We scan with closer line spacing in such streets and record new and old services alike. Recently backfilled trenches are noted, as disturbed ground can affect radar readings.
Is the ₹1,00,000 minimum added on top of the metre charge?
No – treat it as the lowest possible bill rather than a surcharge. Metre-rate charges that total under ₹1,00,000 are rounded up to that figure; anything above it is billed as calculated. Separate items such as mobilisation and GST are added in either case.
Can GPR find an old cable with no records?
Often, yes. Radar does not need records; it responds to the cable itself. EM locating can also pick up an old cable if it carries current or can be connected to. Very small, deep or corroded lines in wet ground are harder to detect, and the report says where detection confidence is low.
How long do ground marks stay visible?
Under traffic and rain, paint on a busy Dahod road can wear off in days, and pegs in soft ground can be shifted. The Dahod marks are meant to steer digging done shortly after the survey, and the signed report as the lasting copy of what was found. Re-marking a Dahod stretch is possible, booked as its own visit.
Are you linked to MGVCL in Dahod?
No. We have no affiliation, approval or empanelment with MGVCL or any other DISCOM. Contractors and consultants working on MGVCL-area projects can order a survey from us like any other client, and the findings are reported to them.
