Is a GPR survey company in Amaravati what your project needs? Salaried Mezux Touch crews make the long trip from Faridabad with radar we own, to detect OFC ducts, drains, pipes and cables under the capital region's trunk roads and building plots. Amaravati route survey bills at ₹24 a metre, moving to ₹32 if the capital-region client wants an L-section; any order is billed on 4 km or more, any project on ₹1,00,000 or more, and GST is charged separately.

Why hire a GPR survey company in Amaravati when the roads are new?
Fresh asphalt is a poor guide to what lies beneath it. Amaravati is a greenfield capital region on the south bank of the Krishna, planned by APCRDA, and its new trunk roads were built with utility corridors set aside for cables and pipes. A corridor on paper, however, only says where a service should sit. It does not prove where the trench was actually dug, how deep the pipe ended up or whether an earlier contractor strayed into a neighbour's band.
That is the gap a GPR survey company in Amaravati fills. Before your team cuts a verge, lays a duct or sets up a drill rig, our crew scans the stretch with ground penetrating radar and EM locators, marks every detected service on the surface and hands over a signed report. You start work knowing what is in the way instead of assuming the ground is empty because the road looks new.
The work is done with Mezux Touch's own equipment. Since 2003 our buried-service surveys have been run on radar we own – 58 GPR systems today – by staff crews, and no part of a job is sub-let.
Which capital-region jobs need a radar scan first?
Most enquiries from the Amaravati area fall into a handful of job types:
- Power cable laying along trunk roads, where HT and LT cables share space with water and drainage lines.
- OFC and telecom ducts pulled through verges that already hold other services.
- Water, sewer and storm-drain connections taken from a trunk line into a new plot or building.
- HDD crossings under wide carriageways, medians and drains; see our HDD route survey page.
- Plot and campus scans before foundations, compound walls or internal roads are built.
Each of these is covered by our utility detection services in Amaravati: radar for metallic and non-metallic lines, EM tracing for conductive cables and pipes, ground marking in utility colours and a report. On request we open trial pits or boreholes where a single depth has to be proved, and cable fault locating is available as a separate job.
How does a planned utility corridor change the way we scan?
On an old city street, a survey starts with almost no idea where anything is. On a planned corridor, the layout drawing gives a starting assumption, and the survey becomes a test of that assumption.
- We read the corridor layout first. The allotted band for each service type tells us what to expect at each offset from the kerb.
- Both verges and the median are scanned. Services are not always on the side the drawing shows, especially at junctions and plot entrances.
- Cross-lines are run at regular gaps. They confirm whether a detected line keeps a steady offset or wanders out of its band.
- Finds are compared with the layout. Anything sitting outside its allotted position, or not shown at all, is listed separately in the report.
That last list is often the most useful page for a contractor, because it shows exactly where the drawing cannot be trusted. Our utility corridor mapping service explains how longer corridors are recorded.
What does the Krishna river setting mean for radar depth?
Radar reach is decided by the soil and the water in it. Wet clay and saline ground absorb the signal and shorten the depth radar can see; dry sandy ground lets it go further. Land on a large river's bank tends to hold more moisture than ground further away, and it changes with the seasons, so reach can vary from one end of a capital-region road to the other.
For that reason a ground penetrating radar survey in Amaravati that engineers can use does not quote one depth for the whole region. Our report states the reach achieved on each section, marks stretches where standing water or soft ground prevented scanning, and flags weak or uncertain finds. Where a deep service near a crossing must be confirmed before design, a trial pit or borehole is the next step.
What will a GPR survey in Amaravati cost?
Charges are worked out per metre of route. Standard scanning is ₹24 a metre. Adding an L-section – a profile showing how deep every located service runs along your alignment – takes the rate to ₹32 a metre. A short job is billed as 4 km, and since Amaravati is outside Delhi NCR, no project is invoiced below ₹1,00,000. GST is extra.
| Example order | Survey type | Amount before GST |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5 km plot connection route | Standard | ₹1,00,000 (billed length 4 km, ₹96,000, lifted to ₹1,00,000) |
| 12 km trunk-road cable route | Standard | ₹2,88,000 |
| 12 km trunk-road cable route | L-section | ₹3,84,000 |
| 150 km multi-package programme | Standard, 25% slab | ₹27,00,000 |
When an order grows past 100 km, a 25% reduction covers all of it, not just the extra length; the reduction rises to 40% after 500 km and to 50% after 1,000 km. None of these amounts covers mobilisation, night shifts, traffic management or permits, or CAD/GIS drawing sets – each is priced on its own. Every slab is listed on our GPR survey price list.
How do our crews reach Amaravati?
Every system and crew leaves from our Faridabad yard. Because Andhra Pradesh is a long way from there, the programme and mobilisation are planned with you once the scope is clear, and the trip is quoted as its own line. We do not hire local machines to shorten that step; the same company-owned radar that has covered 1.5 lakh+ km in 28+ States/UTs comes with the crew.
A long trip is most economical when several stretches share it. Routes in neighbouring Vijayawada can join an Amaravati order, so both lengths add up when the discount slab is worked out. For trenchless and fibre works in the region, see our Amaravati location page.
Whom do we work for in the capital region?
Our clients are the contractors, consultants and owners who order the survey: EPC firms laying cable or pipe, telecom contractors pulling ducts, and builders preparing plots. Mezux Touch is not affiliated with APCRDA, APCPDCL or any other DISCOM, municipal body or development authority; we hold no approval, empanelment or order from them, and findings go only to the client who books us. GPR scanning services in Amaravati are therefore booked directly with us, like any private survey contract.

Questions about GPR survey in Amaravati
Can you check whether services sit in their allotted corridor bands?
Yes. If you share the corridor layout, we scan across the full road width and compare each detected line with the band it should occupy. Services found outside their band, or missing from the drawing altogether, are listed separately so your designer can deal with them before excavation.
Do you scan the median as well as the verges?
Where access is safe and the scope needs it, yes. Medians on wide trunk roads sometimes carry street-light cables, drains or crossings that the verge drawings do not show. Working in a median may need traffic arrangements, which the project owner obtains and which are charged outside our rate.
Is a survey needed if the road was built only recently?
Usually. A recent road can still hold services laid by several agencies, and their final positions may differ from the drawings. A scan costs far less than repairing a damaged cable or main, and it gives your crew marked positions rather than assumptions.
Do you provide L-section drawings in a specific format?
An L-section, at ₹32 per metre, gives a depth profile of what we locate along your alignment. If your client also wants CAD or GIS drawing sets, tell us at quote stage; those are prepared separately and quoted as their own item.
Can you work at night on busy Amaravati roads?
Night working can be arranged where a road owner allows it or daytime traffic makes scanning impractical. It is charged separately from the metre rate. Let us know at quote stage which stretches need night shifts so they can be priced and planned.
Who receives the survey findings?
Only the client who places the order. We are not linked to APCRDA, APCPDCL or any authority, so we do not file results with them. If your contract requires you to submit findings to an asset owner, the signed report is yours to send.
