Quick answer

A GPR survey in Gotri, Vadodara traces the cables, water and drainage lines, gas pipes and telecom ducts under western Vadodara's societies, hospital campuses and newly built roads. Mezux Touch scans with radar and EM, marks every line on site and reports depths. Standard survey ₹24 per metre, L-section ₹32; minimum 4 km and ₹1,00,000 per project.

Why get a GPR survey in Gotri, Vadodara?

Gotri has grown fast. What were open plots in western Vadodara are now residential societies, apartment towers, hospitals and the roads that link them. Each new building brought a power connection, a water line, a sewer link and usually a fibre feed, and many of these were laid by builders whose as-built drawings never reached the next owner or contractor.

A GPR survey in Gotri, Vadodara finds those services before your work meets them. Ground penetrating radar records pipes, cables and ducts of any material; an EM locator follows the metallic ones. The crew marks each line on the surface with its approximate depth and leaves you a report listing what was found and what could not be checked.

Where are the risks in a growing area like Gotri?

  • Society internal roads. Builders often run water, sewer, power and CCTV or intercom cables wherever was quickest, with little regard for a standard layout.
  • Hospital campuses. Gotri is home to the GMERS Medical College and Hospital and a number of private hospitals. Sites like these depend on uninterrupted power, so they can hold several incoming cables, generator feeds and earthing systems close together, alongside fire-water and drainage lines. A strike there affects patients, not just a building.
  • Recently built roads. Where roads were widened or raised in recent years, older lines may now sit under the carriageway at depths that changed with the road level.
  • Plots under construction. Temporary power cables, site water lines and services from earlier use often stay in the ground after the building is complete.

Our pages on utility lines in apartments and societies and on builders and new colonies explain these issues in more detail.

What does underground utility mapping in Gotri deliver?

Underground utility mapping in Gotri turns the field findings into a record the society, hospital or builder can keep. A typical record contains:

  • the plan position of each detected line, sorted by type: power, water, sewer, gas, telecom or unknown;
  • approximate depth at measured points, with the detection method noted;
  • chambers, valve boxes and manholes seen on the surface, tied to the lines below;
  • areas left unscanned, such as parked-car zones, covered sheds and landscaped beds.

The report comes with the survey. CAD drawings and GIS layers can be added, quoted separately, and suit facility teams who need to update the record whenever new services go in. For larger mapping jobs see utility mapping across Vadodara.

How is cable detection in Gotri done before piling or foundation work?

Cable detection in Gotri is often requested just before a new building's piling, a boundary wall, a ramp or a foundation for an extension. The approach is the same each time. We scan the full footprint plus a margin, run EM over any metallic cable or pipe that can be traced, and mark every line inside or near the work area. Where a cable passes through a planned pile position, we flag it so the designer can shift the pile, or the cable can be diverted first.

On construction sites the scan can also pick up buried debris and old footings that might obstruct piles. See our construction site GPR survey and pre-excavation scanning in Vadodara for short pre-dig jobs.

How deep does radar see under Gotri's roads and plots?

Vadodara sits on alluvium, and in open ground with moderate clay our notes show radar reaching about 2.5 to 3.5 metres. Gotri's newer roads and plots often carry a layer of fill on top: brought-in soil, murram or rubble placed when the area was developed. Fill varies from site to site and can either help or weaken the signal, while garden areas that are watered daily lose depth. Each report gives the depth reached in each zone, so nobody assumes a single figure for the whole site.

What are the rates for a Gotri survey?

Gotri is billed on the same rate card as the rest of Vadodara. A standard survey is ₹24 per metre surveyed, and the L-section survey, which adds a depth profile of detected services, is ₹32 per metre. The minimum billable length is 4 km per order. Gotri falls outside Delhi NCR, so a ₹1,00,000 project minimum also applies; a 10 km standard route, for example, costs ₹2,40,000 before GST.

Mobilisation, night work, traffic or permission arrangements and CAD/GIS drawing sets are not part of these rates and appear as separate lines in the quote. Large orders earn 25% off above 100 km, 40% above 500 km and 50% above 1,000 km, on every metre. For a single plot or campus, send the site plan and we will set out the scope and price. Full details are on the price list.

Who carries out the work in Gotri?

Crews and systems come from Mezux Touch's Faridabad base. The company owns 58 GPR systems and 18 HDD rigs, uses only its own trained staff, and holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Electricity in Vadodara is distributed by MGVCL; Mezux Touch is not affiliated with MGVCL or any DISCOM. More on our district work is on the Vadodara GPR survey page.

TIP 1

Ask the builder first

Request any as-built drawings, electrician layouts or plumbing sketches from the builder or society office before the survey day.

TIP 2

Plan around hospital needs

On hospital campuses, agree scan times with the engineering team so the crew stays clear of critical areas during busy hours.

TIP 3

Clear parking areas

Ask residents to move cars from the scan zones on survey day; parked vehicles are the commonest cause of gaps in coverage.

TIP 4

Keep a living record

Ordering CAD or GIS layers lets your facility team add each new service, so the next dig starts from current information.

TIP 5

Dig soon after marking

Paint on paved society roads lasts only a few weeks, so start excavation while the marks are still fresh and readable.

Combine society phases

Societies developing in phases can survey all internal roads at once, rather than paying mobilisation again for each phase.

Join with neighbouring sites

Adjacent societies or plots planning similar work can share one order and spread the project minimum between them.

Send a dimensioned site plan

A scaled layout lets us plan scan lines and quote without an extra visit just to measure the site.

Mark the work zone clearly

Telling us exactly where piles, trenches or chambers will go keeps the scan focused on the ground that matters.

Skip drawings if paint is enough

For a one-time repair, ground marks and the report may be all you need; CAD or GIS records cost extra.

Book before construction starts

Scanning open ground before materials and machines arrive is quicker and cheaper than working around a busy site.

FAQ

Questions about GPR survey in Gotri

Is there a GPR survey company near me in Gotri?

Mezux Touch does not run a local branch in Gotri. Our crews and radar systems travel from Faridabad when a job is confirmed. Email kumar@mezux.in or call +91 99100 10209 with your site plan, and we will quote the survey, list any extras and suggest dates.

Can you survey inside a gated society?

Yes, with the society's permission. We usually coordinate with the managing committee or facility manager, agree a date and time, and ask that parking areas on the scan route are cleared. Residents can see the marks once the survey is complete.

Will the survey find the sewer line in our society?

Sewer lines are generally picked up by radar, especially concrete or PVC pipes of normal size, and manholes on the surface help confirm their direction. A deep trunk sewer below the radar's reach may not be detected, and the report notes this where it applies.

Do you scan around hospital generator rooms?

Yes, with the hospital engineering team's approval. These areas often have several heavy cables and earthing strips close together. We mark each one we can separate and note where they run as a bundle, and plan the work so hospital operations are not disturbed.

Can GPR find the gas pipeline serving a society?

Gas distribution pipes are often polyethylene, which radar can usually pick up in normal soil, and metallic risers or steel sections can also be traced with EM. Any suspected gas line is marked clearly, and excavation near it should follow the gas company's safety rules.

How do we use the survey for a new borewell or tank?

Tell us where the borewell, sump or tank is planned. We scan that spot with a margin around it and mark any service inside the area. If lines run through the spot, the position can be moved before digging starts, avoiding damage and repair bills.
