Quick answer

Looking for a GPR survey company in Himmatnagar? Mezux Touch sends its own crews and radar from Faridabad to trace cables, water lines, sewers and telecom ducts along NH-48, town roads and Hathmati crossings. A route survey costs ₹24 per metre, ₹32 with an L-section; orders start at 4 km and ₹1,00,000, GST extra.

Rates and page checked:

Survey crew member reviewing radar data on a rugged tablet
Findings are checked on screen before a single mark goes on the Himmatnagar road.
Technician tracing a buried cable with a handheld electromagnetic locator
EM tracing confirms conductive cables that radar has already flagged along the route.
Map of Gujarat with pins marking several towns on one survey programme
Himmatnagar work can share one trip with Mehsana or Gandhinagar routes.
Coloured paint lines on a road surface showing buried utility positions
Each service gets its own colour so the digging gang knows what lies beneath.

What does a GPR survey company in Himmatnagar check before you dig?

Ground penetrating radar records echoes from anything buried that differs from the soil around it. Our crews run it along your planned alignment and back it with electromagnetic locating, so live and conductive lines are confirmed twice. As a GPR survey company in Himmatnagar, we look for:

  • 11 kV and LT power cables, street-light feeds and earthing strips;
  • water supply mains, including plastic pipe, and house connections;
  • sewer lines, storm-water drains and buried culverts;
  • telecom cables and OFC ducts laid by different operators;
  • metal pipelines, chambers and unknown buried objects.

Positions are painted or pegged on the ground and written into a signed report. More on cable-focused work is on our underground cable detection page.

Where does buried-service work concentrate around Himmatnagar?

Himmatnagar is the headquarters town of Sabarkantha district, which brings government offices, a busy market area and the services that feed them into a compact grid of streets. Three settings account for most survey requests:

  • The NH-48 corridor. The Ahmedabad–Udaipur highway runs past the town, and its edges and service lanes are a natural path for long cable, duct and pipe routes. Utilities from several owners often share the same strip.
  • The Hathmati river. The town sits on the Hathmati, so some routes must cross the river or run near its banks, where crossings are usually planned as bores.
  • Town streets and industrial plots. Older lanes hold services laid at different times by different owners, while factory and warehouse plots need clearance before foundations or new connections.

Distribution in this part of the state is the responsibility of UGVCL, which has its head office in Mehsana. We are an independent firm with no affiliation to UGVCL or to any other DISCOM, and our Himmatnagar reports go to the contractor, consultant or owner who commissioned the scan.

How are NH-48 and Hathmati crossings surveyed?

Crossings concentrate risk, so they get more attention than the straight runs between them.

  1. Highway crossings. We scan both edges of the carriageway, the median where reachable and the launch and receiving pit areas, with a closer grid than on the open route.
  2. River and nala crossings. The bank on each side is scanned for services entering the crossing zone, and the planned bore path is checked as far as the ground and access allow.
  3. Junctions in town. Services converge at road junctions, so cross-lines are added at each one along the route.

Permission to work on a national highway or near a river is obtained by the project owner from the authority concerned. Traffic management and permissions fall outside our metre rate and are quoted separately. Our HDD route survey page explains how a scanned bore path feeds the drilling plan.

How deep does radar reach in Himmatnagar ground?

Depth depends on the ground, not on the town name. Moist clay and saline patches reduce how far the radar signal travels, while dry, sandy ground allows it to go deeper. Riverbank ground near the Hathmati may hold more moisture than the higher land around it, and filled-up road edges along the highway can behave differently from natural soil a few metres away.

For that reason we do not quote one depth for Himmatnagar. Any ground penetrating radar survey that engineers in Himmatnagar rely on should show its own limits, so our report records, section by section, how deep the radar actually saw, and it lists any stretch where reach fell short of your planned work depth. At such points we can arrange trial pits or boreholes on request. Our guide to GPR in clay, water and rock explains the reasons in more detail.

How much does a GPR survey in Himmatnagar cost?

Every job is priced by the metre. In Himmatnagar a route scan is ₹24 a metre (₹24,000 for each kilometre), and ₹32 a metre when you take the L-section, which profiles service depths along the alignment. Lengths below 4 km still draw a 4 km charge, and as the town sits outside Delhi NCR, a Sabarkantha project costs at least ₹1,00,000. GST is charged on top.

Example routeSurvey typeBefore GST
2.5 km of town streetsStandard₹1,00,000 (billed as 4 km, ₹96,000, then raised to the project minimum)
5 km NH-48 service laneStandard₹1,20,000
12 km cable routeL-section₹3,84,000
150 km district programmeStandard, 25% off₹27,00,000

Discounts work on the whole order. An order over 100 km has 25% taken off each metre, an order over 500 km 40%, and one over 1,000 km pays only half. That is why 101 km (₹18,18,000) costs less than exactly 100 km (₹24,00,000). Mobilisation, night shifts, traffic arrangements and CAD/GIS drawings are not part of these figures. The complete slab table is on our GPR survey price list.

Which survey can you order for a Himmatnagar project?

  • Standard route survey – services located and marked along a cable, pipeline or duct alignment.
  • L-section survey – adds the depth profile many work orders ask for; see our L-section GPR survey service.
  • HT/LT cable route survey – for distribution cabling and its road and drain crossings.
  • OFC route survey – for telecom ducts along the highway or town roads.
  • Plot and campus scans – utility detection services in Himmatnagar for factory sites, schools, hospitals or housing plots, scanned on a grid.
  • Cable fault locating – a separate task from route survey, priced on its own.
  • Trial pits and boreholes – arranged on request where a depth must be proved.

How do our crews reach Himmatnagar?

Teams and systems leave from our Faridabad yard. The fleet – 58 GPR systems, 18 HDD rigs – belongs to us, and only our employed crews run it; no hiring in, no sub-letting. Our crews have logged beyond 1.5 lakh km with radar in 28+ States and UTs during 23 years, so a long drive to north Gujarat is routine planning.

Himmatnagar's position on the highway between Ahmedabad and Udaipur makes it easy to combine with other north Gujarat work. Routes here and in Mehsana or Gandhinagar can go into one order, sharing the mobilisation and moving the total towards a discount slab. The Gujarat GPR survey hub shows the other towns we cover.

FAQ

Questions about GPR survey in Himmatnagar

Can you survey along the NH-48 service lane?

Yes, once the project owner has the highway authority's permission for work on that strip. We scan the lane and the road edge, add cross-lines at junctions and openings, and mark findings for the excavation team. Traffic arrangements needed on the highway are quoted separately from the survey rate.

Is ground near the Hathmati harder to scan?

It can be. Riverbank soil may stay wetter than land further away, and wet ground shortens radar reach. We scan the banks and approach zones closely, record the depth achieved there, and suggest trial pits or boreholes if a bore is planned deeper than the radar could see.

Are you an approved vendor of UGVCL?

No. Mezux Touch has no affiliation, empanelment or approval from UGVCL or any DISCOM. Contractors and consultants working on projects in the UGVCL area can order a survey from us directly, and the report is issued to whoever placed the order.

My route is only 2 km. What will I pay?

Short jobs are billed as 4 km, which is ₹96,000 at the standard rate. Because Himmatnagar is outside Delhi NCR, the ₹1,00,000 project minimum then applies, so the survey charge is ₹1,00,000 plus GST. Adding a second stretch on the same visit uses that minimum more fully.

Can you tell a telecom cable from a power cable?

Often, by combining methods. EM locating picks up live power cables and lines we can connect a signal to, while radar shows all buried objects, including ducts. Depth, route pattern and visible chambers help further. Where identity stays uncertain, the report says so and a trial pit can confirm it.

Do you provide drawings for a tender submission?

Yes, we can prepare CAD or GIS drawing sets from the survey findings. They are an optional item quoted separately from the metre rate, so tell us the format your client expects when you request the quote. The signed survey report itself comes with every job.
