Quick answer

Underground utility mapping in Greater Noida locates the power cables, water and sewer lines, drains and telecom ducts under a road, campus or plot with GPR and EM, then records them in a signed report – with CAD or GIS sets on request at extra cost. Survey rates are ₹24 per metre, ₹32 with L-section; 4 km minimum; GST extra.

Rates and page checked:

Mezux survey crew with radar carts and safety equipment ready for work
The same in-house crew scans the site and prepares the utility record.
Stacked map layers separating cables, water pipes and drains
Power, water, drainage and telecom finds are kept on separate layers when GIS is ordered.
Engineering drawing showing buried utility lines plotted on a site plan
CAD sets of a Greater Noida campus or plot are prepared on request and quoted separately.
Coloured paint marks on a road surface showing buried service lines
Ground marks guide the next excavation; the record keeps findings after paint fades.

What does underground utility mapping in Greater Noida give you?

A route survey clears one alignment for one job. Underground utility mapping in Greater Noida goes further: it records the buried services across a whole road, campus, plot or corridor so the information can be used again for later works. The method is the same – radar and electromagnetic locating – but the scan covers the area on a grid and the output is organised as a record.

From a mapping job you receive:

  • ground marks over each detected service, in its utility colour, with approximate depth;
  • a signed report listing every detection with its position, approximate depth and the method that found it;
  • depth reach achieved on each part of the site, and every area we could not scan;
  • a depth profile along chosen lines if the L-section survey is ordered;
  • CAD or GIS drawing sets, if you ask for them, priced separately.

The wider service is described on our utility mapping page.

Which Greater Noida sites benefit most from a utility map?

Mapping pays off wherever a site will be dug more than once. In Greater Noida that usually means:

  • Institutional campuses in the Knowledge Park area, where new blocks, hostels and connections are added in stages.
  • Industrial and factory plots, where process lines, power distribution, drains and old foundations from earlier layouts share the ground.
  • Sector roads and service margins planned by GNIDA, which over time have collected cables, pipes and ducts from many parties.
  • Plots along the Yamuna Expressway and other growth corridors, where recent works are often poorly recorded.
  • Areas around Aqua Line stations, where services may have been diverted during metro construction.

Electricity in the city is supplied by NPCL, and water, drainage and roads by other agencies, so no single drawing shows everything. Mezux Touch is not affiliated with GNIDA, NPCL or any other authority or DISCOM; we map for the owner, estate team or contractor who hires us. For the city as a whole, see our Greater Noida GPR survey page.

How does subsurface utility engineering in Greater Noida differ from a quick scan?

Subsurface utility engineering treats the buried services as design information, not just hazards to avoid. In practice, for a Greater Noida project, that means:

  1. Collecting records first – whatever the owner, the licensee and other agencies can provide, even if incomplete.
  2. Scanning to find what records miss, and checking what they show.
  3. Stating confidence for each detection, so a designer knows which lines are well proven and which are uncertain.
  4. Proving key points with trial pits or boreholes on request, where a design decision depends on one position or depth.

That structure lets an engineer design around services with known reliability. Our SUE survey service explains the approach in more detail.

When do 3D utility mapping services in Greater Noida make sense?

Most mapping work uses 2D radar lines on a planned grid, which is enough to locate services and estimate their depth. 3D or high-resolution scanning, with lines run much closer together, is worth considering where the ground is crowded and the design is tight: a busy junction where many services cross, a factory floor area where new foundations must avoid process lines, or a campus entry where several connections converge. It takes longer per square metre, so we recommend it only for the parts of a site that need it and keep the rest on the normal grid.

Can a GIS utility mapping agency in Greater Noida supply drawings?

Yes, as an extra. Our standard deliverable is ground marking plus the signed report. When a client needs a lasting digital record, we prepare CAD drawings or GIS layers from the survey findings, in the format and layer names you specify. These underground utility CAD drawing services in Greater Noida are always quoted separately from the per-metre survey rate.

For estate teams that plan to update the record as each phase is built, GIS layers usually work better than a single drawing. Our CAD and GIS utility mapping page lists the formats we work in.

How is utility corridor mapping in Greater Noida priced?

Mapping follows the same rate card as route survey: ₹24 per metre of scan line for the standard survey and ₹32 per metre with an L-section. On a plot or campus we price the total length of grid lines needed to cover it. Being inside Delhi NCR, the only floor is 4 km of billable length; the ₹1,00,000 project minimum used elsewhere does not apply. GST is extra.

Mapping jobSurveyBefore GST
Campus grid needing 3 km of scan linesStandard₹96,000 (4 km billed)
5 km of sector roadsStandard₹1,20,000
18 km utility corridorL-section₹5,76,000

Large orders earn a discount on every metre: 25% above 100 km, 40% above 500 km and 50% above 1,000 km. CAD/GIS drawing sets, mobilisation, night shifts and traffic arrangements or permissions are separate items. For long linear jobs, see our utility corridor mapping service, and the full slabs on the price list.

STEP 1

Define the area

Send the site plan, road list or corridor KML, along with any phases of new work you are planning there.

STEP 2

Gather existing records

Owner drawings and licensee records, however partial, are collected so the scan can check them and fill the gaps.

STEP 3

Scan the grid

Radar lines run on a planned grid across the site, with EM tracing to follow conductive cables and pipes.

STEP 4

Mark and verify

Services are marked on the ground; trial pits at critical points can be added on request to prove depth.

STEP 5

Hand over the record

The signed report is issued, and CAD or GIS layers follow when ordered, quoted separately from the survey.

Best prices

Get Underground Utility Mapping in Greater Noida at Best Prices

Scan-line pricing for sites

Campuses and plots are priced on the grid length needed at ₹24 a metre, so you pay for coverage, not hours.

L-section for chosen lines

Where a depth profile is wanted along key roads, those lines are charged at ₹32 per metre within the same visit.

4 km is the only floor

Greater Noida falls within Delhi NCR, so small mapping jobs are billed at 4 km without any ₹1 lakh project minimum.

Drawings only if needed

CAD and GIS sets are optional extras, so a site that needs only marks and a report does not pay for them.

Phased campus orders

Several buildings, roads or plots can be mapped in one order, letting the total length qualify for a discount slab.

Owned systems, no sub-letting

Our crews run their own GPR systems and locators, so the rate carries no rental or third-party survey margin.

FAQ

Questions about utility mapping in Greater Noida

Do you offer smart city underground mapping in Greater Noida?

We provide the kind of layered utility record that smart city asset systems use: services located by GPR and EM, reported with confidence, and supplied as GIS layers when ordered. We do not claim any role in a government programme; we map for the owner, developer or contractor who places the order.

How is mapping different from a pre-excavation scan?

A pre-excavation scan clears one dig or one route for immediate work. Mapping covers a whole area and organises the findings as a record for repeated use, often with CAD or GIS layers. The field method is similar, but the scan grid is wider in coverage and the reporting is more structured.

Can you update a utility map we already have?

Yes. Send the existing drawing or GIS data and we scan the site to check it, recording services it misses and flagging lines that do not match. The usual metre rate applies to the scan, and updated CAD or GIS layers are quoted separately.

Will the map show the material of each pipe?

Not reliably. Radar and EM show where a service is and roughly how deep, and EM confirms whether it is conductive. Material, size and owner usually come from records or a trial pit. The report states what each detection is believed to be and how confident that identification is.

Can a factory keep working while its plot is mapped?

Usually, yes. We plan the grid around production areas, vehicle movements and any zones the plant restricts, and work in sections. Areas that cannot be reached during the visit are noted in the report and can be scanned later. Site safety rules are followed throughout.

Do you map campuses in Knowledge Park?

Yes, institutional campuses there are typical mapping sites, because new blocks and connections are added over years. A dedicated page covers that area in more detail. For any campus we propose a grid from the site plan and quote at the standard metre rate.
