Quick AnswerWith a private land surveyor in Raipur, the field is first measured exactly as it lies and then compared with the khasra, B-1 and naksha. Any corner that has gone missing is traced and pegged again. The drawing you receive carries every side length and gives the area in hectares, acres and dismil. Our surveyor for Chhattisgarh lives in Raipur and can begin the moment you confirm, or one working day later at most. Mobilisation or travel, if it applies, appears separately in the quote. For the wider service, read getting land survey services done right.

In which situations is a private land surveyor in Raipur worth calling?

Wherever paper and ground may disagree, since the drawing shows any mismatch in metres. The field is measured as it lies and laid over your khasra, B-1 and naksha, and vanished corners are restored. Owners phone for a private land surveyor in Raipur before a purchase or a bank loan, or ahead of putting up a boundary wall. Others call once the neighbour's fence appears to cross their property boundaries.

Around Raipur the requests come in four kinds. Farmland on the edges of Raipur is being sold in parts for colonies and warehouses. Industrial plots in Urla, Siltara and Bhanpuri are extended or fenced. Plots in Nava Raipur's planned sectors are checked against the allotment drawing before construction. Land along the new Raipur–Visakhapatnam corridor is also changing hands, and buyers want the field located against the highway land before they pay. Each of these starts from a different paper, so we read the papers first.

Which land records matter in Chhattisgarh?

For revenue land, three documents: the khasra (P-II), the B-1 and the village map. The khasra gives each survey number with its area and land type, the B-1 shows which numbers a holder owns, and the village map (naksha) shows their shape. All three can be seen through the state's Bhuiyan land-records service, and the patwari of the halka keeps them up to date.

Seemankan, the government's own demarcation, is carried out by revenue staff once you apply at the tehsil office. As an independent contractor, Mezux Touch carries no appointment from the Chhattisgarh revenue department. With our boundary survey figures in hand beforehand, you know roughly what the tehsil team ought to find, and you have a yardstick for judging their result afterwards.

How is a lost boundary corner put back?

By measuring from marks that survived, using distances recorded earlier or taken from the map, and fixing the point where those distances meet. A stone at the next field's corner, a culvert, a well or an old roadside pillar can all serve as references if the record shows them.

In practice we use more than two references wherever possible, because a third distance shows at once if one of the old marks has been moved. Control for the whole job comes from a DGPS survey, and detail around trees and buildings from a total station survey.

Acre, hectare or dismil?

Most Raipur land is described in hectares on the record and in acres or dismil in daily talk. A dismil (often written decimal) is one-hundredth of an acre, about 435.6 sq ft, while colony plots trade by the square foot. Each Raipur drawing lists the area four ways: square metres, hectares, acres and dismil. Sellers sometimes quote yet another measure, and our free tool will convert bigha, gaj and acre along with the rest.

Does Raipur's soil affect the survey?

Yes, mostly in how pegs and pillars are fixed. Around the city the farmers' own names for soil are useful to the survey crew. Kanhar, the black soil, swells once the rains arrive and splits open in summer, which can lift or lean a shallow peg. Our answer is a deep-set concrete pillar, or a steel pin wherever rock is close. Bhata land, the gravelly lateritic upland, is hard to drive into but holds a mark well. Close to the Kharun the fields may remain soft well after the monsoon has gone, so if the owner can wait we measure those in the dry season.

What should reach us before field work starts?

Enough to finish in one visit, so our Raipur surveyor does not have to come back for a missing paper.

  1. Khasra number(s), village and tehsil, with photos of the B-1 and khasra extract.
  2. A print or screenshot of the village map, if you have one.
  3. A location pin and the name of someone who can show the land.
  4. Any old measurement, sale-deed sketch or neighbour's drawing.

How soon can the team reach Raipur?

At once in most cases, and at most within 1 working day of the order. Our team member for Chhattisgarh lives in Raipur and works with company-owned instruments, so the job does not wait on a long journey. The written quote shows any mobilisation or travel cost that arises. Grouping several plots, or combining a GPR scan with the visit, spreads any such charge. For the districts our crews have already covered, open survey coverage in Raipur details.

Frequently asked questions

Can you do the official seemankan?

No. Seemankan is a revenue department process through the tehsil. What we do gets you ready for it and gives you a way to verify its outcome.

Do you work in Nava Raipur sectors?

Yes. Plots there are checked against the allotment drawing or site plan, not the village map. Where a building is planned, contour lines from a topographic survey can follow on the same visit.

Can several plots be done in one visit?

Yes, and it is the best way to spread any mobilisation charge. List every location in your quote request.

Can you take a Bhopal job as well?

Yes. Madhya Pradesh keeps records in a similar way to Chhattisgarh; for that city, our page is Private Land Surveyor in Bhopal.

When does the finished drawing arrive?

Normally within three working days of our last day in the field.

What if a neighbour objects during the survey?

We measure both claimed lines and show them on the drawing, so the difference is clear to everyone.
